About us
Companion Legacy Partners was founded on the belief that every pet deserves the safety net of a care-plan created just for them after losing their parent or guardian - and that planning ahead should bring peace of mind, not stress.
At the heart of our mission is Juliet Boyd, a recognized leader in animal welfare with over 25 years of experience advocating for international and domestic animal welfare programs and the rehoming of companion animals.
Juliet spent 15 of those years directing and refining a program where she developed a strong, trusted system for making sure pets never fall through the cracks when their owners/parents pass away or become unable to care for them. Under her leadership, numerous pets were successfully placed in loving homes over the years - often within just days - through a carefully managed foster and adoptive process grounded in compassion, diligence, and legal responsibility.
A program, originally called the Pet Survivor Program, was founded at Hopalong Animal Rescue in the San Francisco Bay Area over 25 years ago, and when Juliet joined the group as Executive Director 15 years ago, it quickly became the “favorite part of her job.”
Who We Are“Rehoming pets according to their families’ wishes and overseeing their care has been been a true honor.”
“I can’t tell you how much it means to me to carry each pet through their loss and make sure that they land in the roses.”
